The Sanctuary in Tampa is a monthly event that bills itself as an underground house and techno experience and they’re not lying. The venue is located in the basement of an old church, the lights and Danley sound are brought in for each show and the after hours goes till 6am. Having been involved with the rave scene since the early 90s, I would say that constitutes a rave but with a full bar till 3am.

Not only do they have top notch sound and lights in an underground venue (literally). The music curated by long time industry vet Luis Martines is incredible. This months installment features guest DJs Blake Blaze and Russ Urban accompanied by resident DJs Luis Martinez and Freelance. The after hours from 3am till 6am features legendary Superstar DJ Keoki.

For those that are unable to attend can tune into Russ Urban’s Underground FM for a live broadcast. Lemuria Live is developing an Augmented Reality filter for Facebook. / Instagram.
